On September 4th,  Minister Nalbandian, who was in Moscow on a working visit, participates in the Collective Security Treaty Organization Ministerial  Council. At the session of the Council Armenia took up the the presidency of CSTO Ministerial Council.
In the agenda of the Ministerial Council included the implementation of decisions accepted in 2007 in Dushanbe meeting of Ministerial and coordination of CSTO member-states foreign policy activities.

As the president of Ministerial Council Minister Nalbandian chaired the meeting, where some projects of international documents were discussed. Ministers touched upon the draft international documents on fight against the terrorism and drug trafficking, training of specialists for rescue and law-enforcement services, as well cooperation in other areas.

Ministerial council adopted statement, which supports Russia’s role in promoting peace and cooperation in the Caucasus. 
In his remarks Minister Nalbandian, outlined the priorities and events during Armenian presidency in the CSTO.
