On April 9, 2008, Minister Oskanian received Heikki Talvitie, Special Envoy of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, who is in Yerevan to take part in the inauguration ceremony to be held the same day.

On welcoming the guest, the Armenian Minister expressed satisfaction with the Finnish Chairmanship of the OSCE this year and its attention toward the region and Armenia

            Ambassador Talvitie, in his turn, thanked Minister Oskanian for co-operation during his years of tenure as Foreign Minister. 

            The two also touched upon prospects for the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process, and the Ambassador noted that this will remain at the focus of the OSCE Chairmanship.
