Minister Oskanian received Ambassador Geert Ahrens, head of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) long-term election observation mission, on the occasion of completing his mission.

During the March 6 meeting, the Minister expressed his appreciation for the Mission’s work before, during and after the presidential elections. 

Ambassador Ahrens expressed his gratitude as well for the invitation extended to the ODIHR to observe the presidential elections in Armenia, as well as for the assistance provided during those days. The Ambassador shared with the Minister his concern over the post-electoral developments.

At the end of the meeting, the Minister wished Ambassador Ahrens good luck, and expressed hope to see him again in Armenia.
