On February 18, 2008, Minister Oskanian received Heikki Talvitie, Special Representative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office, who was in Armenia on a regional visit.

Ambassador Talvitie briefed the Minister on the outcome of his visit, mentioning that he would be coordinating different OSCE missions’ work during the upcoming presidential elections in Armenia. 

The two also spoke on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process, the situation that arose from Kosovo’s declaration of independence, as well as the upcoming visit of Ilkka Kanerva, OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Foreign Minister of Finland.
