On January 29, 2008, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian received Ehud Gol, Israel’s Ambassador to Armenia and Israel Meiami, Deputy Director of the Israeli MFA’s Eurasian department.

Minister Oskanian and Ambassador Gol discussed bilateral relations and some regional issues. The two expressed satisfaction with the collaboration between the two countries and agreed on the need to deepen cooperation in different spheres.

The Ambassador spoke about joint programs with the ministries of Agriculture and Health.
 
They exchanged views on international developments and spoke about the Israel-Palestinian negotiations and the latest developments in the Nagorno Karabakh settlement process.
