Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Armen Baibourtian Completes a Visit to Bulgaria

On January 23-24, 2008, Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Armen Baibourtian paid a working visit to Bulgaria to participate in the political consultations between Armenia’s and Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministries.


Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister met with Evgenia Koldanova, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria on January 23. They spoke about the international and regional developments, about IPAP and collaboration of the two countries in international organizations.


They also exchanged views on relations with neighbors, Kosovo and the latest developments in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process.
The Deputy Foreign Ministers discussed cooperation in the spheres of politics, economics, science and culture.
Later the same day, Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Armen Baibourtian gave a lecture at  Bulgaria’s Diplomatic Institute on Armenia’s European Policy.

On January 24, Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister met with Bulgaria’s Minister of Public Administration and Administrative Reform Nikolay Vassilev. The two made arrangements to hold continuing education courses for Armenian civil servants in Bulgaria.
