On June 15, 2007, Minister Oskanian received Ambassador Peter Semneby, the EU Special Representative in the South Caucasus.

During the meeting, they discussed regional issues and Armenian-Turkish relations.

Speaking about Armenia’s parliamentary elections, the EU special representative stressed that the EU sees these elections as a step forward and hopes that the upcoming presidential elections will continue in the same vein.

Minister Oskanian and Mr. Semneby shared thoughts on the results of the meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in St. Petersburg.
