On September 16, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan participated in a roundtable discussion held at the French Institute of International Relations on “Armenia at the Center of the Regional and Global Geopolitical Changes”.

During the discussion, Vahan Kostanyan briefed on Armenia’s foreign policy priorities, the current state of relations with neighbouring countries, the normalisation process between Armenia and Türkiye, as well as Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, particularly the agreements reached between the two countries in Washington on August 8.

Touching upon Armenia’s aspiration to achieve sustainable peace in the South Caucasus, Vahan Kostanyan outlined the opportunities arising from the unblocking of regional communications.

The discussion was attended by several dozen experts, representatives of various French departments, journalists, and foreign diplomats accredited in France. The discussion was moderated by Thierry de Montbrial, Founder and President of the French Institute of International Relations.
