During the private conversation we have already comprehensively touched upon the bilateral agenda, as well as the issues of stability and peace in the region.

We strongly condemn the blatant armed encroachment against the sovereign territory of Armenia - the UN member state, which is a violation of the norms of international law.  

The Acting Minister specifically emphasized the implementation of interim decisions of the European Court of Human Rights on Armenian prisoners of war.

In this regard, the sides highlighted the importance of addressing the issues of the comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the urgent humanitarian issues, which resulted from the war and require an urgent solution.

Azerbaijan continues to use Armenian prisoners of war as political hostages, and continues the policy of torture and psychological pressure on them.
