On September 8, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan of Armenia, who is in Tbilisi as part of the delegation of the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia, held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Georgia David Zalkaliani.

Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Artsakh stressed the need to resume the process of peaceful settlement and the comprehensive and lasting resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship.

We consider the conduct of Turkish-Azerbaijani military drills in the borders of Armenia and Artsakh, as well as in vicinity of Lachin corridor as actions disrupting the steps towards de-escalation

US State Secretary Antony Blinken sent a congratulatory message to Ararat Mirzoyan on the occasion of assuming the position of the Foreign Minister of Armenia, noting:
