Question: Mr. Kocharian, how would you assess the firing of Armenian civilians, in the result of which three women were killed by the Azerbaijani side in the eve of the meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in New York?

Answer. It has become a tradition for the Azerbaijani leadership to undertake provocative actions, aimed at the failing any possible progress in the negotiation process, prior to the high-level meetings mediated by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.

To this end targeting օlder women of civilian areas by mortars and heavy weapons is the expression of cave mentality and behavior of the Azerbaijani leadership, such as axing the Armenian, while asleep, and heroizing the insidious murderer, as well as demonstratively torturing to death the wandering civilian.

It’s time to give an adequate assessment and call to order the leadership of Azerbaijan which threatens, first of all, the future of its own people.
