06 May, 2015

The irrevocable process of recognition of the fact of the Armenian Genocide by the international community is going on.

Armenia welcomes the Resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide adopted unanimously by the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg.

The Parliament of Luxembourg, paying tribute to the memory of victims of Mets Eghern, stresses, that what was perpetrated against Armenians in the Ottoman Empire a century ago is genocide, and calls upon Turkey’s authorities to face their own history.

With the adoption of this Resolution Luxembourg now stands along the states that recognized the Genocide and has brought its considerable input in the noble cause of prevention of new crimes against humanity.
