Question: A few days ago the newly appointed Foreign Minister оf Turkey Chavushoglu blamed Armenia for non-regulation of Armenian-Turkish relations and once more reiterated that Armenian side hasn’t even responded to the letter of the Prime Minister of Turkey in 2005.

Answer: I wouldn’t like to believe that the response of Armenian side which was given and published on April 25, 2005, just a couple of days after receiving Turkish Prime Minister’s letter, hasn’t been preserved at the archive of the Foreign Ministry of Turkey.

Turkey consistently implements policy of denial of Armenian Genocide and continuously makes failed attempts to deny and falsify historical facts.

This very approach of Turkish side continues to be the obstacle for the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations.
