-Mr. Kocharyan, how would you comment the statements by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, made during his speech on January 9, that by figures Azerbaijan exceeds Armenia in all areas which will have a decisive impact on the resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

- It is no longer a secret that the main obstacle of the negotiation process is through distortion of the essence of the conflict the denial of the right of self-determination by Azerbaijan, the anti-Armenian propaganda and the threats for a new war. It was once again expressed in the recent speech of the President of Azerbaijan. He could have voiced more impressive figures by making comparisons with the Republic of Artsakh.

But he is avoiding to do it as he hasn’t forgotten that in spite of figures they lost the war to Artsakh in the result of the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan, and is very well aware that a new adventure will lead to new defeats.
