On the decision of the State of Qatar due to the novel Coronavirus

On March 15, in the framework of the measures aimed at preventing the spread of the novel Coronavirus in the State of Qatar, a decision was adopted at the session of the High Commission for the Management of Special Crises in the Fight against Coronavirus, headed by Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Tani, according to which:

Starting from March 18, all flights to Qatar will be suspended for 14 days, except for air freight and transit flights. We inform that Doha-Yerevan and Yerevan-Doha flights have not been conducted on a daily basis last week, but only on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. From March 17, all Doha-Yerevan and Yerevan-Doha direct flights have been canceled. Flights transiting through Doha have been maintained, but with less frequency.

On March 15, since 10pm, the works of public transportation, as well as the subway of Doha and Karwa passenger buses have been suspended.

Therewith, we inform that consular receptions in the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the State of Qatar take place in case of arrangements agreed beforehand, and the citizens entering the Embassy are being registered in a special register.
