I want to thank the Austrian Government for hosting the fifth Global Forum of Alliance of Civilizations in a city known for its historic multicultural traditions and for being a center of multilateral diplomacy.

Armenia became a member of the UN Alliance of Civilizations27 February, 2013
On February 27 Vienna hosted the un alliance of civilizations 5th forum goal of which was to consolidate the international community against extremism through intercultural and inter-religious dialogue and cooperation. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon opened the forum. High-ranking delegations from 136 countries and international organizations attended the forum.

Minister Nalbandian received the delegation of the European Forum for Democracy and Solidarity19 October, 2012
On October 19 the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian hosted the delegation of the european Forum for Democracy and Solidarity led by Vice-Chair Jan Marinus Wiersma. The delegation included members of the European Parliament Kristian Vigenin, María Muñiz de Urquiza and Edit Herczog, as well as other experts of international relation.
