On November 21, within the framework of the visit of the Russian inter-ministerial delegation to Armenia. Foreign Ministers of Armenia Ara Aivazian had a meeting with Sergey Lavrov, the Foreign Minister of Russian Federation.

The agenda of the meeting included the issues of the situation on the ground in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone and the implementation of the agreements on the cessation of hostilities.

The interlocutors discussed the escalation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the ways of de-escalation. The Ministers also touched upon issues related to regional security and stability.
