On September 20, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, who is in New York to participate in the session of the UN General Assembly, had a meeting with Mikheil Janelidze, Foreign Minister of Georgia.

Minister Nalbandian and Henry Rabary Njaka had a detailed discussion on the cooperation within the International Organization of La Francophonie and the preparatory works of the Summit to be held in Yerevan next year.

The agenda of the meeting included regional issues and the efforts aimed at their settlement. Minister Kotzias presented the recent developments on the Cyprus issue and approaches of Greece.\r\n

The Foreign Ministers touched upon a number of agenda issues of the Armenian-Lebanese friendly relations, discussed the timetable of upcoming high-level mutual visits and the preparatory works of the session of the intergovernmental commission.
