Meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Côte d’Ivoire Kacou Houadja Léon Adom
08 November, 2025On November 7, in Belém, Brazil, on the margins of the Leaders’ Summit convened in the lead-up to the 30th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30), Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan had a meeting with Kacou Houadja Léon Adom, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Ivorians Abroad of Côte d’Ivoire.
During the meeting, issues on cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats were touched upon. Both sides emphasized the mutually beneficial partnership established within international organizations.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity to be held in Yerevan in 2026. Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan presented the priorities of Armenia and highlighted the importance of COP17 as the first global review of commitments under the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF).
Touching upon the bilateral agenda, the parties underscored the importance of advancing political dialogue and enhancing sectoral cooperation framework.
