On February 26, on the margins of the 43rd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Bruno Eduardo Rodríguez Parrilla, the Foreign Minister of Cuba.

Minister Mnatsakanyan noted that despite the geographical distance, Armenia attaches great importance to the development and strengthening of relations with Cuba in various dimensions. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan emphasized that Armenia fully supports every effort aimed at expanding Armenian-Cuban cooperation.

Foreign Ministers expressed their readiness to make practical efforts towards expanding and strengthening the bilateral agenda. Boths sides highlighted the promotion of dialogue at different levels and regular consultations between the Ministries, as a platform for outlining steps towards full use of existing potential of cooperation in different spheres.

Ministers Mnatsakanyan and Parrilla commended the cooperation between Armenia and Cuba on international platforms, based on mutual support and confidence. 

During the meeting the sides exchanged detailed views on urgent issues of international and regional agenda.
