Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan's meeting with Miroslav Lajčák. OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic

On December 6, within the framework of the 26th OSCE Ministerial Conference in Bratislava, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Miroslav Lajcak, the OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Foreign Minister of Slovakia.

Minister Mnatsakanyan congratulated his Slovak counterpart on the successful Chairmanship in the OSCE, noting that effective cooperation was established throughout the past year towards the implementation of the Slovak chairmanship priorities and advancement of the goals of the Organisation.

Minister Mnatsakanyan briefed Miroslav Lajcak on the latest developments related to the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement process. The Foreign Minister of Armenia and the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office highlighted the steps aimed at creating an environment conducive to peace, positively assessing the implementation of the exchange program of the media representatives from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Artsakh.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Miroslav Lajčák also touched upon a number of issues on the Armenian-Slovak bilateral agenda, outlining the future steps to fully utilize the potential of broadening bilateral cooperation. Both sides stressed the importance of advancing a dialogue at various levels, including through reciprocal visits and regular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
