General information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Republic of Czechoslovakia were established on 30 Mаrch 1992. Later, after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia, on 5 January 1993, the Republic of Armenia established diplomatic relations with the Czech Republic.

On 21 February 2019, Ashot Hovakimian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Czech Republic, presented his credentials to the President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman.

On 24 January 2023, Petr Pirunčík, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan.

Armenia and Czechia established Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in 2014.
