Qatar
General Information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the State of Qatar were established on November 5, 1997.
In 2019 Armenia established a resident embassy in Doha.
The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Armenia Mr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Hajri (with residence in Tehran) presented his credentials to the President of the Republic Armenia in April 2019.
On September 13, 2021, Armen Sargsyan was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the State of Qatar.
