Paraguay
General information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Paraguay were established on July 2, 1992.
Since 2005, the Embassy of the Republic of Paraguay in the Russian Federation has been jointly accredited to the Republic of Armenia.
Since 2019, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Argentine Republic has been jointly accredited to the Republic of Paraguay.
On August 20, 2025, Mariam Gevorgyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Paraguay (residence in Montevideo), presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Paraguay, Santiago Peña Palacios.
The Senate of Paraguay recognized the Armenian Genocide on October 29, 2015.
