General information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United Mexican states were established on January 14, 1992.
Since 2012 the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Washington had been jointly accredited in Mexico. Since 1993 the Embassy of Mexico in Russia has been jointly accredited to Armenia.
Since 2014 was established the Embassy of Armenia in Mexico City.
Since September 2018 was established the office of Honorary consul in the state of Michoacan, Mexico.
On February 2 2018 the Ambassador of the United Mexican States to the Republic of Armenia Norma Bertha Pensado Moreno (residence in Moscow) presented her credentials to the President of Armenia.
On September 14, 2021 the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Mexican States Armella Shakarian presented her credentials to the President of Mexico Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the United Mexican States for the establishment of visa free regime with respect to diplomatic and service passports holders (signed on 22.08.2002)
