General information

Diplomatic relations between Armenia and Japan were established on September 7th, 1992.

Since July 2010 the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia operates in Tokyo.

Since January 2015 the Embassy of Japan operates in Yerevan. 

Since February 2021 the Ambassador of RA to Japan is H.E. Mr. Areg Hovhannisyan.

Since April 2021 the Ambassador of Japan to RA is H.E. Mr. Fukushima Masanori.
