Iraq
General Information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Iraq were established on February 12, 2000.
The embassy of Armenia in Iraq was opened in 2000 (reopened in 2010).
The embassy of Iraq in Armenia was opened in 2001 (reopened in 2012).
In September 2023 Misak Balasanyan was appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Iraq.
In February 2021 General Consulate of Armenia was opened in Erbil.

Intergovernmental Committee
The Armenian-Iraqi intergovernmental joint commission on economic cooperation has been operating since 2012. Up to date five sessions of the commission have been held:
