General information

The Republic of Armenia attaches great importance to the strengthening of friendly and mutually beneficial ties and the establishment of а new partnership with the Republic of India.

Diplomatic relations between Armenia and India were established on August 31, 1992.

The Ambassador of Armenia to India is H.E. Mr. Vahagn Afyan.

On January 17, 2023 H.E. Ms. Nilakshi Saha Sinha has been appointed as the Ambassador of India to Armenia.

The Honorary Consul of Armenia in Chennai is Shivkumar Eashvaran (since 2011).
