General information

The Republic of Armenia attaches great importance to the strengthening of friendly and mutually beneficial ties and the establishment of а new partnership with the Republic of India.

Diplomatic relations between Armenia and India were established on August 31, 1992.

H.E. Mr. Vahagn Afyan is the Ambassador of Armenia to India is (presented his Credentials to the President of the Republic of India on November 28, 2023).

H.E. Ms. Nilakshi Saha Sinha is the Ambassador of India to Armenia (presented her Credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia on April 10, 2023)

The Honorary Consul of Armenia in Chennai is Shivkumar Eashvaran (since 2011).
