Guatemala
General information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Guatemala were established on June 29, 1998.
Since 2013, the embassy of the Republic of Guatemala in the Russian Federation is jointly accredited to the Republic of Armenia (residence in Moscow).
Since 2014, the embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the United Mexican States is jointly accredited to the Republic of Guatemala (residence in Mexico City).
On October 18, 2019 the Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala Gustavo Adolfo López Calderon presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia (residence in Moscow).
On March 12, 2022 the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Armella Shakarian presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Guatemala Alejandro Giammattei (residence in Mexico City).
Since August 2020 the Office of Honorary Consul of Armenia in Guatemala was established.
Since February 2021 the Office of Honorary Consul of Guatemala in Armenia was established.
