General information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Hellenic Republic were established on 20 January, 1992.

On January 19, 2022 - the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Hellenic Republic Tigran Mkrtchyan presented his credentials to the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

On January 12, 2024 -the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to the Republic of Armenia Mr. Christos Sofianopoulos, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Vahagn Khachaturian.

The 5th session of the Armenian-Greek Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial and Technological Cooperation took place in March 2016, in Athens.
