General Information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Albania were established on 18 February 1993.

On 7 June 2022, H.E. Mr. Tigran Mkrtchyan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Albania (residence in Athens) presented his credentials to H.E. Mr. Ilir Meta, President of the Republic of Albania.

On 20 July 2022, H.E. Ms. Luela Haydaraga, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Armenia (residence in Athens), presented his credentials to H.E. Mr. Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of the Republic of Armenia.

On 13 October, 2015 Mr. Varuzhan Piranjan was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia to Tirana.
