General Information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Albania were established on 18 February 1993.

On 7 June 2022, Tigran Mkrtchyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Albania (with residence in Athens), presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta.

On 20 July 2022, Luela Haydaraga, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Armenia (with residence in Athens), presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan.

• 2018 In August, the Government of the Republic of Armenia adopted the decision "On establishing a visa-free visit regime for citizens of the Republic of Albania".
• Memorandum between the Competition Protection Commission of the Republic of Armenia and the Competition Authority of Albania on cooperation in the field of competition law enforcement and competition policy. Signed in 2023 in Tirana.
