35th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie held in Yerevan

On October 8-9, the 35th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie took place in Yerevan. The conference was attended by foreign ministers and heads of delegations from OIF member states. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Armenian Foreign Minister and president of the Ministerial Conference, delivered the opening remarks.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and good wishes, the newly appointed Ambassador noted that he is honoured to represent Korea in a country with such a rich history like Armenia. Woo Yoon-keun assured that upon the instruction of the President of Korea he would spare no efforts to deepen the Armenian-Korean cooperation in different spheres.\r\n

Recalling his meeting with Foreign Minister of Malta Carmelo Abela last December, Minister Nalbandian expressed confidence that the reached agreements will be implemented and will promote the political dialogue, cooperation in international structures, intensification of inter-parliamentary relations, trade-economic ties, cultural exchanges and expansion of legal framework.\r\n
