The Republic of Armenia continues to stay committed to the settlement of all outstanding issues with Azerbaijan purely through political and diplomatic means. Accordingly, the statements about Armenia preparing provocations are absolutely groundless. Armenia has no intention to escalate the situation, on the contrary, we remain open to discuss our previously proposed mechanisms for de-escalation.

Ararat Mirzoyan received the members of the EU technical assessment mission

On January 9, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received the members of the EU technical assessment mission headed by Marcin Wydra. The team was sent to Armenia to consider the possibility of deploying a new EU civilian mission. The head of the EU delegation in Armenia, Andrea Victorin, also participated in the meeting.
