General information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Portuguese Republic were established on 25 May 1992.
On 31 March 2025, Boris Sahakyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia in the Portuguese Republic (with residence in Rome) presented his credentials to the President of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
On 8 February 2023, Madalena Fischer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Portugal to Armenia (residence in Moscow), presented her credentials to the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.
On 24 November 2015, Samuel Samuelyan was appointed Honorary Consul of Portugal in Armenia (residence in Yerevan).
