Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Nicaragua were established on July 06, 1994.
On December 6, 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Republic of Armenia Alba Azucena Torres Mejía (residence in Moscow), presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.
