General information

The diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Moldova were established on May 18, 1992.

In 2021 Valeriu Civeri has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to the Republic of Armenia (residence Kyiv).

In 2023 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Ukraine Vladimir Karapetyan has concurrently been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Moldova (residence Kyiv).

On December 15, 2021 within the framework of the Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia N.Pashinyan met with the President of the Republic of Moldova M.Sandu.

On February 14, 2020 on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia N.Pashinyan met with the President of the Republic of Moldova I.Dodon.

On January 31, 2020 Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia N.Pashinyan met with the Prime Minister of Moldova I.Chicu on the margins of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council’s meeting in Almaty.
