General Information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Dominican Republic were established on October 9, 2007.

On July 6, 2022, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Dominican Republic, Anahit Harutyunyan (residence in Ottawa), presented her credentials to the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Rodolfo Abinader.

The Diplomatic mission of the Dominican Republic in Yerevan was established on 31 March 2023.

On July 31, 2023, Ramon Omar Alma Garcia was appointed Honorary Consul of Armenia in the Dominican Republic.

On December 19, 2023, Mikayel Karapetyan was appointed Honorary Consul of the Dominican Republic in Armenia.

On February 18, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to the Republic of Armenia, Alejandro Arias Zarzuela, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia.
