On November 22, 2010, Eduardo Guarachi was appointed as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Chili
On 4 May 2011, Armenian-Chilean Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group was created in the Parliament of the Republic of Chili.
On 1 November, 2013 the newly appointed Ambassador of the Eastern Republic of Urugauy to the Republic of Chile Juan Eduardo Eguiguren (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.
On October 2016, Arman Papazyan was appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Chile to the Republic of Armenia
On June 4, 2018, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in Chile Estera Mkrtumyan (residence in Buenos Aires) presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Chile Sebastián Piñera.
The Senate of Chile recognized the Armenian Genocide.
