Chile
General information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Chile were established on April 15, 1993.
Since 2013, the embassy of the Republic of Chile in the Russian Federation is jointly accredited to the Republic of Armenia (residence in Moscow).
Since 2016, the embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Argentine Republic is jointly accredited to the Republic of Chile (residence in Buenos Aires).
Since November 2010, the Office of Honorary Consul of Armenia was established in the Republic of Chile.
Since October 2016, the Office of Honorary Consul of Chile was established in the Republic of Armenia.
On November 30, 2022 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to the Republic of Armenia Eduardo Escobar (residence in Moscow), presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.
On June 29, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Chile Hovhannes Virabyan (residence in Buenos Aires), presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Chile Gabriel Boric.

Legal field
Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile (signed on 12.07.2014).
Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Chile for the establishment of visa free regime with respect to diplomatic and service passports holders (signed on 27.04.2018).
