The Human Rights Council recommended the UN General Assembly to proclaim December 9, the day when the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide was adopted, as the International Day of Commemoration of the Victims of Genocide. Commemorative Event in Seoul Dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide

On April 23-24, 2015 in the hall of the National Assembly of Korea a special exhibition event was held to commemorate the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide. The event was organized by the Korea-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group and supported by the Embassy of Armenia to Korea, residence in Tokyo.
