In many cases crimes against survivors continue throughout ensuing years, even decades of the genocidal acts. I am talking about the attempts to conceal or deny committed crimes. Unequivocally, this is a violation of the survivors’ right to remembrance. As long as it continues, survivors and their descendants remain in the status of victims of the crime.
