Question: Your excellency, this is your first visit to Egypt and to Arab world, where thousands of Armenians live. Taking into account historical relations with Armenia and Arab world, how do you see the future of these relations with Egypt, Armenia, and Arab world?

The issue is that arms trade to Azerbaijan is fatal, because Azerbaijan never hesitates to use those weapons against civilian infrastructure, the civilian population, and the events, which took place after July 12, have quite enriched our factual evidence on that.

The escalations were preceded by the attacks and accusations of the President of Azerbaijan addressed to the OSCE Minsk Group mediation format. Moreover, the Azerbaijani leader has recently started to resort to the territorial and historical claims against Armenia, particularly the capital Yerevan, as well as the Zangezur region in the south of Armenia.

On July 16, in Vienna, upon initiative of the Armenian Delegation to the OSCE, a current issue entitled “Military offensive of Azerbaijan on north-eastern part of the state border of Armenia” was included in the agenda and discussed at the OSCE Permanent Council meeting.
