On December 27, the tête-à-tête meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Islamic Republic of Iran took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, which was followed by an enlarged meeting with participation of delegations of the two countries.

On September 18, during the meeting with representatives of the diplomatic corps at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani side presented narratives which sound like diplomatic preparation to start concrete actions aimed at ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh and for a new military escalation in the region.

On 27-28 June 2023, the 4th Meeting of the Armenia-EU Partnership Committee established under the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Extended Partnership Agreement (CEPA) took place in Brussels.
