Newly appointed Ambassador of Poland presented copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister of Armenia


On February 2, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Paweł Cieplak the newly appointed Ambassador of Poland, on the occasion of handing over the copies of his credentials.

While underlining that Armenia highly appreciates the centuries-old Armenian-Polish friendship, Minister Nalbandian congratulated the Ambassador and expressed hope that the newly appointed Ambassador will contribute throughout his tenure to a further development and strengthening of the Armenian-Polish friendly relations.

Expressing gratitude for the reception and good wishes, Ambassador Paweł Cieplak assured that he will do his utmost to deepen and expand the cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

In the course of the meeting the sides touched upon the prospects of and opportunities for deepening the cooperation both in bilateral and multilateral formats within the framework of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.

During the meeting a number of regional and international issues were touched upon.

Minister Nalbandian briefed his interlocutor on the latest developments with regards the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the joint efforts of Armenia and the Minsk Group Co-Chair countries aimed at the exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict.
