Hungary

General information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Hungary were established on 26 February, 1992.

On December 2003, Mr. Artashes Blurtsyan was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Hungary to the Republic of Armenia.

On 23 March 2012, Arman Kirakossian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Hungary (residence in Vienna).

On 25 May 2012 the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary Mr Sándor Szabó, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan (residence in Tbilisi).

On 31 August 2012 NSC of RA decided to suspend diplomatic relations between Armenia and Hungary:
