Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United Kingdom were established on 20 January, 1992.
On 19 January 2012 Jonathan James Aves and Katherine Jane Leach, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to the Republic of Armenia presented their credentials to the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan.
