BILATERAL RELATIONS BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA AND THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA


General information

Armenian-Chinese official talks started, when the People’s Republic of China officially recognize the Republic of Armenia on December 27th, 1991. Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the People’s Republic of China were established on April 6th 1992.


Republic of Armenia

On 10th October, 1996 in Beijing was opened the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia.

From 1996 to 1997 Mr. Azat MArtirosian was appointed as Charge d’Affairs of the Republic of Armenia to PRC
From 1997 to 2001 Mr. Azat Martirosyan was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to China
From 2001 to 2007 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to China was Mr. Vasili Kazaryan
From 2007 to 2008 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to China was Mr. Vahagn Movsisyan
From 2008 to present Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to China is Mr. Armen Sargsyan


People’s Republic of China



On July 1992 in Yerevan was opened the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China.

From 1993 to 1995 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Armenia was Zhao Xidin
From 1995 to 1998 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Armenia was Yan Kejun.
From 1998 to 2002 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Armenia was Zhu Zhaoshun
From 2002 to 2007 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Armenia was Zuo Xueliang.
From 2007 to 2010 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Armenia was Hong Juyin.

From 2010 to present Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Armenia is Mr. Tian Changchun

From 1992 in Yerevan functionates trade mission of the People’s Republic of China.
